CBCRP is funding our research study, using cigarette tax and state income tax check-off monies from the State of California.


Environmental Working Group

EWG created and maintains the Skin Deep Database, which we use to screen products used by our study participants (before they join our study) for parabens, phthalates, and other hazardous chemicals.  EWG co-sponsored our community forum on Chemical Exposures and Breast Cancer and EWG scientists have provided support and advice on our research study.

This one-woman Pasadena company made shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and deodorant specially for our research study and provided them to us at a substantial discount.  Eco Apothecary products are paraben and phthalate-free, vegan, and as organic as possible.
